AMAZON will be slashing the prices of thousands of items before and during Prime Day – so you definitely don’t want to miss it.
It’s been dubbed the online giant’s version of Black Friday, but what’s all the fuss about?

What is Amazon Prime Day 2017?
Prime Day is a one-day-only global shopping event – with Amazon bosses promising“thousands of amazing deals worldwide”.
The event is an annual celebration of Amazon’s anniversary.
In news which might make you feel old, the online retailer has now been going for 22 years.

Amazon ran its first Prime Day in 2015, and it was so successful that the company decided to make it an annual affair.
Unlike Black Friday, all the deals are online – so thankfully there’s no chance of a brawl breaking out.
When is Amazon Prime Day 2017?
Amazon haven’t announced a date for Prime Day yet – but it’s likely to be in the week commencing Monday July 10.
The previous dates have been July 12, 2015, and July 15, 2016.
However, Amazon will roll out deals for a whole week before Prime Day – to build excitement for the main event.
The main Prime Day starts at midnight, and new products come out every hour. Amazon tend to discount their bestsellers between 6am and 10pm.
